I appreciate the fact that it "rates" my shots via a small hand-like icon, based on clarity. I recently made a trip to Monterey, CA and have postcard quality pics to remember it by. All in all, it's a great buy. Since then, I've loved this camera. It's been known to happen. Even inside a dimly lit aquarium I managed to get beautiful shots.
And to all the reviewers who can't understand what we're raving about.you probably just got a dud. I actually purchased this camera about 4 years ago (for a lower price than listed). It's super easy to use and takes great quality shots. Green for good, yellow for fair and red for poor.
Not a bad camera, bonus is the rechargeable battery, multi-targeting when shooting. Good pictures for a small camera.
I had to cool the camera down to get rid of the pink color. My M763 was good only for two months and then both the LCD creeen and the pictures taken turned pinkish whenever the temperature was high (ove 80C). Now the pink color stays forever.Obviously a bad quality camera.
Who is not a tech wizard and she loves it. I bought this for my Mom. It works well and is really easy for her to understand.
It works great in a variety of lighting and takes wonderful pictures and outstanding video (my ex-wife has the video camera and this takes such good video that I don't have a need for the "real" video camera). It's size is great when I'm out with the kids b/c I'm usually carrying enough stuff and don't need a bulky camera added to the mix. The only other negative is that the screen can be hard, even impossible, to use in bright sunlight, but it's easy enough to point and shoot and generally get good results. I got this as a refurbished purchase from Kodak as a replacement and use it primarily to take pictures of my two young kids. I've had it over a year now and have had very few issues with it. It can sometimes be a little slow to activate when initially turned on and sometimes (rarely) has a hard time focusing, but whether photographing scenery or the kids, all in all I've loved it and it's been easy enough to use that my 6yo daughter can take decent pictures with it as well.
